PD World Record - Annual Milage
A natural dream of a sailor is to head off into the blue yonder and keep going to the end of the world. Unfotunatly our lives usually require that we stay at home, family obilgations trump hobbys almost every time. But setting sail once a week down at the local pond is a way for us to break free of our lives, and live the dream. This record is about sailing as far as you can in a year.

Record Rules:
1 - Boat must be setup in class legal configuration
2 - Only sail and/or human power - no motors or stored energy devices
3 - Must be sailed on the water, in an area where tidal flows & currents will not affect the speed - such as river running
4 - You may count milage from any PDRacer
5 - You may estimate the distace you covered, please try to be accurate
6 - You do not need to submit your log to Shorty, just the total milage, and hopefully number of trips you took
7 - If you want, you can submit your sailing log to the discussion forum.
The top 5 milage for each year is posted here.
