Kansas PDRacer

I am 87+ and must get my PD Racer built and under the Bolger Lego mutton sail (purchased recently purchased from David Gray) sailing by October one. Sept 18 I purchased 3 sheets of 1/4' BCX plywood at Home Depot. Jarred cut 4 18' sides and 2 10' deck tops in the blink of an eye. I used one of the 2' scraps for a guide to cut out the gunnel pieces. I used 4 shelf brackets screwed to my saw horses to set those pieces up for rasp/sanding down to satisfactory evenness. I ordered my HIN plate and it is on the way. I have printed out plans from Red Neck Duck and plan to use the 2 side box configuration.

I have many questions: what have others used for leeboard and rudder material?

any one use liquid nail instead of PL 357 along with Tight Bond lll?

What would one use for the inspection plate for the lee board bolt inspection?

My next step is to get some one with a table saw to rip 4 1x2s for the framing.

Oh and I used a skill saw to cut out the gunnel sides, 2 at a time. It worked very well.

And I plan to post pictures of my progress, if possible.
