Bob is a retired Army helicopter pilot and 9 months ago was flying over Iraq as a contractor. Yesterday Bob went home on hospice. He has not eaten in 10 days and I do not believe he has long to live.
While visiting him in the hospital last week Bob talked about PDR and his desire to build a boat, a desire he knew he would never fulfill. He then elicited a promise from me to build one for me and one for my son. I said sure, I will build a PDR.
The day before yesterday Bob asked me for pictures of my duck. I explained that I would build the boat next year, because I’m too busy this year. He said to please not wait, because I don’t know what will happen tomorrow. I have promised Bob to start now, and get pictures.
I am currently working an outage and work 6 12 hour days a week. I live near Dothan, AL.
If anybody can help get started quick, I will accept any help. The only boats I have spent time on in my past we’re all designed to sink.
