Insidious Bufflehead Wheels and Load Video

It's not uncommon for me to get questions at the boat ramp, or an email from your someone on your site with questions regarding exactly how I load and unload my PDR. I've included a couple closeup shots of how I used some electrical metal conduit, wheelchair wheels, all thread rod, self-locking nuts, and number 102 screw eyes, and some carabiners and paracord to make a simple system that makes single handedly loading and unloading, as well as moving it around very simple to do. I also asked a sailing buddy to take some video at the boat ramp of exactly how the system works in conjunction with the back of the pickup truck, and my wife helped shoot some footage of moving it in the driveway at the house. These have been compiled into a video that's recently been posted to you tube, and I've included the link at the bottom of this note. Although not included in the video, it's worth noting that the wheels on the top also makes quick work or rolling one end up on the camper, walking around to the other end, rolling it up on the camper, sliding the wheels out of the screw eyes, and dropping some bolts in to matching fittings on the roof of our pop up. This enables taking it and the camper to the lake, even when towing the camper; something not possible with our ski boat. Although I'll always be glad to answer any questions via email, hopefully the new visuals help to clarify what I've attempted to explain with only words in the past.
