new lateen sail and 2.mast
By Martin Mountain #1077 "Eisvogel" (1ar)the 9. journey of the famous pdracer Eisvogel took place last weekend in company with my good friend and aerodynamic specialist Daniel.
After 4 month of work in the wintertime i was able to add 3 new sails and a 2. mast.
Mainsail is a lateen sail with much better windwards performance than the old one even if it´s less sailarea.
2. mast with two small sails helps to stabilize the boat, gives much more sailing fun and completes the picture.
Fortunatly all these changes turned out very well, so it was a wonderful day on the water.
I´m very happy to have this boat. :-)
