Saturday afternoon Ducking

Out for a low wind Saturday sail with my son, we are learning the basics of tacking and reading the wind. Over the next few weeks we have some planned modifications to reinforce the mast, install some portals on each side of the cabin, and finishing the boom.
So far this little Puddle Duck has been a lot of fun on the lake and handles big waves fairly well. We keep stalling it out and will be putting some 'tells' on each side of the sail.
Other than that it has been great, this summer we are building another Puddle Duck, without the cabin, and a larger OZ Explorer based boat that has room for sleeping in.
