2006 World PDRacer Sailboat Championship Race - Tsunami

Jason was yelling "STARBOARD !!"

We have regular Tsunami events at Magnolia Beach. What happens is that these big cargo ships come flying down the channel, and their bow wave washes across the beach. Last year we had several boats drift off from us because they weren't anchored to the beach.

Here comes the tsunami...

Run for your lives !!!

I was standing on the main sheet to keep this one from drifting off.

As it goes down the beach a though occured to me, it might be fun to try and surf down the front of the wave and travel the length of the beach.
